I’m Luis Gómez

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, I left my country to study Audio Engineering at the renowned SAE Institute in Madrid, Spain. Then moved to Miami where I began my career working as assistant engineer in an Audio Post-Production studio. Now, with more than 12 years of experience in the advertising industry, multiple courses and certifications from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, I have been honored to received awards from the most important advertising festivals around the world, including Cannes Lions, London International Awards, Clio, The One Show, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, among others. In 2015 I co-produced, recorded and mixed the album “Esa Morena” from the Venezuelan Band Daiquiri, earning a Latin Grammy nomination.

Every great project starts by connecting with it, call it a song, a radio, a TV commercial, a full sound design spot, a story; and getting a clear mental picture of the perfect sound for the mix is what describe me better. Passionate, sometimes called a melomaniac, is what helps me do this naturally.
